Who will you actually talk to?

You will talk with an independent remodeling provider in our network. Not a call center script, and not a salesperson for Yespy Remodeling. We are a referral service, so the provider is the one who plans and does the work.

Every provider runs their own business. They set their own schedules, quotes, and terms.

What happens on the first conversation?

Expect a friendly chat about your project. The provider will likely ask about:

• Which room you want to remodel
• What you hope to change, like a tub-to-shower conversion or new cabinets
• The age and style of your home
• Your rough timing and budget

They may suggest a visit to see the space. That is normal for a good home remodel consultation.

What should you ask a provider?

Ask before you hire. Here are some starter questions, with what a good answer sounds like.

• Can I see proof of license and insurance? A good answer is a clear yes, with documents you can check.
• Who does the work? Good answers sound specific. They name whether it is their own crew or subcontractors.
• How do you handle surprises in older homes? Look for a plan for hidden rot, old plumbing, or uneven floors.
• Will I get a written quote? It should list materials, labor, and what is not included.
• How do you protect the finished room? A good provider talks about waterproofing, ventilation, and care tips.

What are the red flags?

Be careful if someone asks for a large payment up front. Be careful if they avoid putting things in writing, or rush you to sign. Vague answers are a signal to slow down.

Talking to a provider does not commit you to anything. You can compare more than one quote. You can ask for time to think. You choose who, if anyone, to hire.
